I was so pleased with the viewing this eyepiece provides. The 82° apparent field of view is a perfect fit for the 18mm. Objects slowly drift across allowing ample time for viewing. I used this eyepiece in my 12” Dobsonian for a public Star Party. 2-3 people were able to have an amazing view of Jupiter and 4 moons before I needed to recenter it thanks to that 82°.

This was one first eyepiece purchase for my first telescope…but don’t dismiss my review. I did my homework before making this purchase and I stand by my choice. The first night I used my eyepiece and my 12” Dobsonian the seeing was terrible, but still I was amazed at the crystal clear optics. This will be the eyepiece I use a majority of the time.
