It’s a great MD riser. It’s sturdy and fit my red dot perfectly. I bought this riser hoping it would go well with my Vortex magnifier but it made the red dot to tall and they wouldn’t line up- good reminder to do your research first. I think anyone would be pleased with it.
I got this riser when I purchased my PA Micro Red Dot. It’s a solid mount and I’ve really liked it so far. I’ve noticed that the mount, especially towards the base where the screws are, tends to scratch easily. But, that comes with use so not a big deal.
The BAD lever is a cool and efficient accessory for any AR build. Especially if you want to cut time when reloading your AR. It takes a bit of getting used to and it might make some people uncomfortable because the lever itself is close to your trigger- possibly leading to an AD. However, if you train with it you’ll be just fine.
Overall these are great back up sights for any AR build. With their ability to flip up and down when you need them makes it easy to attach other optics to your rifle without the iron sights getting in the way. They’re quite sturdy which is nice because you know the last. They are a bit bulky and so trying to attach a rifle light with an offset mount makes it tricky.
I’ve bought a few different carbine stocks in the past but this one is by far my favorite. I found that it’s just heavy enough that it balances my rifle out so it’s easy to shoulder. Also having the QD mounts positioned where it is on the stock makes connecting a sling easy.
Like other products by radian I have no major complaints. The safety feels sturdy and comfortable when I use it. It makes a big difference having a safety on the other side of the rifle. It’s not too large but not too small so it’s to easy access. It’ll take a bit of getting use to- using the 40 setting rather then the 90.
Overall it’s a great rifle light. A little heavier then I’d like, but I’d rather have a heavier/sturdy light then a plastic one. I also noticed the battery life is shorter then I expected if you use it a lot. If you carry spare batteries with you you’ll be fine.
The stock is great overall. It helps eliminate some weight which is good- especially for a lightweight AR build. I used it a lot, but I ended up replacing it because it made my rifle feel heavy and unbalanced when I shouldered it. My only complaint is trying to remove this stock from the tube is insanely difficult to do and sometimes the stock would snag on my clothes when I went to shoulder it- easy fix though with paracord.
