I would NOT trust this to mount anything to a tripod. Purchased for mounting to a radian carbon.
The tolerances arent tight enough to clamp this to the mounting head, and during shipping I can see where this was dinged up, this is not machined and anodized aluminum, its cast pot metal chinese garbage and its not worth the postage spent to send it to my house from IL.
Again, optics planet has sent me junk from china. Im done with this vendor. Buy direct from manufacturers.

This item has good reviews so perhaps I got a bad one.
Compared it with stock barrel, the feed ramp into the tube is slightly off, a milimeter wider on this than stock and stock also has an angle which this does not, dont know if thats why its not functioning correctly but its the only thing I can visibly see different, other than a small difference in a notch at the top left of the barrel looking straight down the barrel.
I zero other aftermarket parts on my 365, just a straight barrel replacement and the weapon will not function at all now, so theres only one culprit - this bad barrel.
I'm very disappointed, this costs way too much to not run properly, and I blame extremely poor QC for this. Waiting on the company to respond.

At first I liked the thing, even though I mentioned in earlier review its overpriced by about 80$ or so, but after first trip to the range I noticed an insane amount of slop in the thing. It moves about the hinges, axial and radial play at that attachment point by about 1/4 inch at the top.
Thats nuts, for a 250$ product, that is unacceptable, and I will be contacting Kintetic Development Group for a fix, or at the very least to tell them how their QC is garbage.

Its a good product, well made, better mounting option than the standard plastic, which is stupid in my opinion... 3k for a rifle, I shouldnt have to worry about the plastic breaking on any part of the gun if Im rough with it.
Anyways, its an improvement, but minus 1 star cause its overpriced by about 70-80 bucks if you ask me... but F it, cant take my money with me when I die so whatever.

Set screws according to instructions are to prevent adapter from turning once its set in desired position. The set screws on my adapter do not extend past the make end of the adapter, it bottoms out in a 12 oclock position and I cannot set it to the right or left 6 or 9. The male end is also too short to utilize an AR buffer tube lock nut, the remaining threads on adapter since they made it so short is less than half a thread. This was trying to install on a NAK9, however I can see this also being an issue installing on my shotgun with AR style stock. For 100+ bucks I expect a product thats without these kinds of flaws.

I should have read the actual reviews, the 2 star towards the top is spot on.
I own a PRS and even though its overpriced its light years more functional and well made than this. I am definitely disappointed in the quality and the operation of this thing.
Terrible design. Even completely down the cheek riser interferes with the charging handle, adjusting it is ridiculous. Disassembling it was annoying. The adjustable buttpad has wobble even with nut tightened all the way and the rubber is loose with a gap at the top.
I've got plenty of time behind AR platforms and theres a reason why the only addons we can bring from home for our systems at work is MAGPUL products (LRSD team).
Ill be returning this and spending the extra 100. Im disappointed because I wanted something that was a little different.

I am attaching hard case mag holders with the rigid plastic clips, the distance between the grids makes it so that you cannot loop it more than two times between the entry and the exit, and then leaving about a 2 inch space where if you are extracting a magazine it simply pulls the holder up 2 inches until it catches then your mag will come out.
its so loose that when running it shifts all over, bouncing up, very annoying. I tried it with a standard molle mag pouch and its the same issue. I dont understand how they think this works at all, for a normal size mag pouch cloth or plastic it simply doesnt fit.
the laser cut tasmanian tiger rig i pulled my kit from allows you to loop the molle or rigid clips through 4 slits, while the hexgrid gives you only 2 large holes for the same size accessory.
horrible design, no way they didnt understand this doesnt fit.
returning.
