Sometimes you get what you pay for - I was a little nervous because this item is 1/2 the price of the Silencerco version which seems regularly out of stock. I like my Octane 45 but I don't love it because all too often after a magazine or two, it would loosen up and need to be retightened. I recently bought an MP5 clone (MAC5) and was happy if came with 1/2x28 threaded barrel, but it also comes with tri-lug. I kind of wanted to replace my suppressor and try out a tri-lug suppressor but I don't have an extra $1000 laying around, life is short but even short ATF wait times are not short. This mount perfectly replaced my Octane 45 9mm piston. It takes a gentle hand to line everything up and then a firm press and twist to lock in. I can tell the tolerances are tight but dimensions are exact and that combination gives a very solid lock up. Virtually no play. I might get the tiniest most minescule movement if I bang the suppressor on something but it instantly goes right back to lock - much less play than with a Nielsen device on a pistol and less than when it starts to walk after a magazine of direct thread. VERY happy with this purchase. I read some of the other reviews that had problems with real MP5s. I guess it is possible the specs are a tiny bit different but knowing the Germans and just how exact the Turks copied the MP5 (they make them on old HK machine tools), I suspect the tolerances are exact. My guess is, people having problems are either not lining up

Says what it does, does what it says. Feels solid with good fit and finish.

Note: use a torque screwdriver to 20lbs/ft. If I had not used the right tool I would have over torqued.
