Just paint your stock front sight red and save the money. The profile doesn't fit an AK sight tool, so risk damaging the fiber rod. I took mine out to change the rod, and one of the threaded halves broke off. I'm past return date, so I'm throwing this out and putting the stock sight back on with a dab of red paint.
If you want a worthwhile sight upgrade, check out the GGG ghost ring rear sight. That was money well spent.
