The circle - dot is perfect for quick target acquisition and follow up shots. Haven't tried the NV settings yet, but it has the capability. On this model, the intensity buttons are on the left of the optic instead of the back. No big deal, just takes some getting used to versus my other EoTech.

I purchased this for its amazing weight and size. It is small but excellent for 100yards or less...which is perfect for my applications. Haven't tried it farther ot indoors and can't comment on reliability yet but I am impressed so far.
