Metal magazines installed with no issues. Just push the latch tab into the grove in the magazine and they stay in place just fine.

As much as I like the look of wood on the 590a1, I found the factory stock too long. Especially if wearing heavy clothing.
I personally like the 12" LOP, it makes shouldering and slide manipulation much easier (if some find it too short, you can always add a slip on recoil pad).
The Hogue stock and foregrip installed with no issues and excellent fit.
