Aimpoint PRO 1x38mm Reflex Red Dot Sight
Very solid mount. Has a large 30mm tube which gives a large clear view, much better than most other brands; most are only 20mm. That makes it easyasy to acquire the target.
Just right height for an AR, not too high, not too low. It a very natural position with the high base. The adjustments for windage and elevation are easy and do not require tools. The on off knob is large and has a solid detent. The dot is only 2 MOA so it does not hide the target like the others with a 4 MOA dot. Battery life is over 3 years if left on continuously, so if you always turn it off when not in use, it may last 10 years. The owner's manual recommends for law enforcement use to leave it on during your entire shift since the battery will last over 10,000 hours. Great idea. Great warranty from a solid American company.
