Centerpoint is very popular with new crossbow hunters and for good reason. Everyone I met who has one says they are great, and they are! There are many YouTube videos about this bow and other Centerpoint Crossbows. The assembly video is very helpful and the speed ranges from 405-407 with a 400 gr. bolt/broadhead combo. A lighter bolt/broadhead may reach the 450 FPS, but that puts stress on the bow and raise the risk of bow failure. Besides, that is so fast that the 20 and 30 yard difference of drop is a mere 3 inches. The trigger has some creep but the trigger weight is just about right for a hunting bow. Accuracy is great! I've seen 3 and 4 inch groups at 100 yds as common. The bow is a little heavy, but works great for a stand situation and helps stabilize the shot. When the bow is cocked, it is very narrow and easy to shoot from a tree stand. Spend the time on the range if you shoot over 40 yards, the bow will do the job, but wind, sudden unforeseen animal movement can ruin a shot that the bow can do. I added the Powerdraw Crank because I love to shoot squirrels and don't want to climb out the the tree stand to draw the bow.
I am very pleased with this Wraith Mini 2x16 scope. I purchased it primarily for daylight deer hunting and just returned from sighting it in. The sighting in is different from an optical scope. It is faster and you use less ammo. I video tape the sight in to check the quality and very impressed. I pushed it to 16X at the 100 yd range and the 6.8 target holes were easily visible in the target. It has a microphone and picked up the conversation of the party shooting 16 ft away very clearly.
The Mini is significantly lighter and smaller and unless you are shooting off a rest all the time, the Mini is the way to go. The Mini on my AR15 is light enough to carry all day and swing on a running deer.
I would recommend buying the battery pack which goes with this scope. In 3 hrs of shooting, it showed full charge, so it should last a whole day. It recharges with a standard android phone charger. Also, I put tags on the selector button to remind me of magnification, mode, camera. I have found that in the adrenaline rush of the moment, you can forget which button to push. And most importantly, take time to become familiar with the scope and how to use it. The advanced features need to be second nature.
