Poor Construction

Just had the opportunity to use this case for the first time and loaded it with two rifles. One with a scope and the other with a red dot. Latched the case shut and when I carried it in the other room, I noticed that the long edge had begun to bow out by the handle. Upon closer examination, I noted that the only thing holding the edge panel to the frame were the small rivets that attached the upper part of the latch to the frame. The narrow side panel appeared to be cardboard and easily broke free from the rivets. Disappointed to say the least. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Seemed Oversized

Review for
Volquartsen Firearms Recoil Buffer
Had good experiences with other Volquartsen products for my Ruger 10/22 however this recoil buffer seemed oversized and was very difficult to put in position. I had to taper the ends and use a mallet to knock it into place. Not sure how long it will last when I have to remove and reinstall during complete cleanings of the rifle.
