Great build quality, poor design

Review for
Texas 1836 Victory - 4 In 1 Holster
The build materials of this holster are very nice. However there are two significant design flaws if this is intended to be used as an EDC holster. First, using it in it's intended horizontal carry position, the leather piece that fits around the belt is not strong enough to keep your pistol from flopping around, and the grip hangs down pretty significantly. Second, the use of leather to cover the area over the magazine release is also inappropriate, as it allows your hip bone to depress and release your magazine when any pressure is applied to that area. Such as bending over or sitting down. I have used 2 separate 1911 models with this holster for about 4 weeks; a commander and an EMP4 Contour. Both guns had the same issues with this holster. May be a good appendix carry holster, but not secure enough for daily concealed carry in my opinion.
