I bought this based on previous reviews saying that it fits the Magpul BAD lever and it fit perfect. This replaced a Aero Precision bolt catch that came with a lower parts kit. The Aero bolt catches are smaller and will not fit a Magpul BAD lever correctly because it will not tighten down enough which makes it sloppy loose. This Luth model was a perfect fix!

This is my second set of Forster headspace gauges that I have purchased. The first set was for a .223 Wylde chambered build and used 223/5.56 gauges. Most recently, I also Purchased the Forster Go and No Go gauges for .300 Blackout build. No issues with either set and it gave me peace of mind knowing the the bolt is headspaced to the barrel correctly. I will continue to buy Forster headspace gauges in the future for future builds in other calibers.

In my opinion, this is the best handguard/upper combo that exists. Besides the fact that this combo makes any AR15 build simple regardless of experience building AR’s. The modern look and design of the M4E1 Enhanced upper and handguard is second to none. So far, I’ve built three in different lengths with this combo set and plan to start another soon. Fit and finish, and design on the product is just awesome! Can’t recommend enough!

I’ve purchased a lot of Aero products over the years and have always done so with the confidence that I will be receiving quality parts. However, this was certainly not quality and I am starting to lose confidence in Aero. The inside of the buffer tube tube is extremely rough and causes excess buffer noise and friction that won’t smooth out even with lubricant. In the past, I’ve always purchased Aero buffer tubes because they have always been great quality and extremely smooth surfaces on the inside of the buffer tube. However, this last one I received looks and feels like it was made in China. I’m starting to question Aero’s quality now because on this same build, I also purchased one of their lower parts kits and for the first time with one of their LPK’s experienced poor quality out of spec parts. The included safety selector would not operate smoothly once installed and had to swap out the detent and safety selector. Luckily I had a few extra safety selectors and detents in a spare parts bin, so was able to quickly remedy the situation, but this isn’t something that someone should have to be concerned about from a company that has been known for quality parts. I’m done with buying Aero LPK’s and buffer kits. I will be giving BCM a try on future builds.

This is a high quality buffer kit. I bought this to go with a SB Tactical SBA4 brace. The SBA4 brace comes with a buffer tube, but it was such low quality I threw it in the garbage. When sliding the SBA4 brace on the original tube, it would bind in some spots and be loose in others. The Aero Precision buffer tube in this kit worked perfectly. My only complaint is that the end plate included in this kit is pretty rough looking and has a terrible finish. Other than that, the kit is perfect.

I built a Aero Precision M4E1 lower with the Aero M4E1 LPK and later discovered that the bolt release paddle is too small to fit the Magpul BAD lever and fit extremely loose with it attached, so I purchased this based on a previous review and it solved the issue and fit great.

My only complaint with the M4E1 LPK is that the rear takedown pin spring is not sized for use with the included set screw. Not that it’s that difficult to snip some off the spring the length of the set screw, but why call it an M4E1 lower parts kit if the included spring isn’t the right size for the threaded rear takedown pin recess when using the included 4-40 set screw? This is my 2nd M4E1 lower parts kit that I’ve purchased and installed. Obviously it didn’t bother me enough to stop me from buying a 2nd one, but I do feel that I make a valid point and that Aero Precision should consider including the right size spring in this kit so that we don’t have to do a home hack job on a spring to make it fit.
