IF IT's A WHELLER, IT's TOP NOT H
Written on Jun 07, 2017
No lie. It's been my experience that, any tool or workbench device manufactured by Wheeler are as good as they come. I have a slew of them. And have yet to have any concern, problem, question, or unsatisfactory experience with any of them.
This particular pice is no different. It serves its purpose well. Fit & finish, durability & sizing are excellent.

JUST THE THING

Review for
Osprey Global 2 Point/1 Point Bungee Sling
Bought this to replace a less expensive model purchased a couple years back, that somehow got lost or misplaced.
It's mounted on an AR-15 pistol, using the 2-point feature. Not really a big fan of single point slings, personally. And,
while the previous sling did the job, it's obvious the fit, finish, & overall quality of this model far surpasses the previous
one.
Truth be told, I bought the Osprey on a lark. My philosophy being that the quickest way to find something you've lost
is to buy a replacement. It's been several weeks now, and the old sling still hasn't turned up. Which is just as well. I've
grown so accustomed to the Osprey that I don't believe I could part with it.
The size & weight are just the thing for my AR pistol. The width, amount of padding, and bungee feature make it very
comfortable to wear for hours at the range. And make it quick to deploy, as needed. Basically, everything you could want
in a quality sling. And, considering the price point, the quality far exceeds expectations. This will be one sling that's sure to
serve me well for years to come.

PERSONALLY, MY FAVORITE AR GRIP
Written on Sep 08, 2016
Purchased this grip for my newest AR - a Rock River Arms .308. Did so immediately after ordering the rifle. Just as I've done with every other AR I own. I simply find this Ergo-Grip preferable to any other grip on the market. I find it to be more comfortable. It fills my hand better than the standard A2 grip. And gives more purchase than any aftermarket grip I'm aware of.
So, a new Ergo-Grip is the very first thing I order for any new AR. You may feel differently. Every hand is different. It's really a matter of personal preference. But, so long as Ergo-Grip makes them, I'll continue to buy them. Their fit & finish is outstanding. Customer Service goes above & beyond. And I've yet to have an issue with the performance or durability of an Ergo-Grip.

SOLID, QUALITY MOUNT

Review for
Nikon P-Series Mount 835,1 in
Bought these rings to accompany a Nikon P-308 Scope to go on my new .308 AR. I gave them four stars only because, while they're built solidly for the money, and function perfectly, they don't allow for BUIS to be installed. And they're simply too difficult to get in & off to make them practical on a tactical rifle.
That said, once installed, they are solidly mounted. Are not at all effected by recoil, or moving the rifle about - to & from the range, etc. And they will be kept for another project at another time.

OUTSTANDING SCOPE
Written on Sep 08, 2016
Review for
Nikon P-308 4-12x40 Matte BDC800 Rifle Scope
Bought this to top my Rock River Arms .308 AR. And it's the perfect choice, IMHO. With the Mil-Dot reticle & Nikon's Spot On app as a companion, it's easy to determine ballistics and adjust accordingly.
While I haven't put many rounds through the rifle yet. Really, only enough to zero the scope. I'm very pleased with the combination so far. Though I may need to swap out the Nikon P-Series Rings I mounted it with, since I'm not able to mount BUIS. And since I believe in BUIS as a backup . . .
But this scope was easy to mount, and to zero. It's glass is clear and clean. It's controls crisp & accurate. What more can you ask for?
