The Trick to Install is This:

Written on Nov 29, 2022

As with ALL drop in AR handguards theres a technique. Get a partner and have them stand the rifle vertical on its buttstock. Get a cheap handguard prying tool, i have them for as low as . $8. The grip with one hand on the pistol grip with their other hand prying down the Delta Ring. This gives you 2 hands free, one for each of the two handguard sections. Hold both pieces in a triangle/pyramid fashion and at the same time enter top(muzzle end) and meet them. The work down to the Delta Ring(receiver end). Be sure to orient your pieces the hand stop bump is the bottom. A partner with two strong hands could pull down the delta ring without a tool but they would wear out their hands quickly. I have done multiple drop ins( magpul, MFT, etc. Plastic and aluminum). This technique works. You cannot install one piece at a time.

Unique and functional

Written on Nov 27, 2022

May fit loose on some rails; tightening mechanism needs improvement. But the style and ergonomics are great. I have come to hate long verticle grips. This being just a handstop suits me perfect and its different from the rest.

OK but will need to shim the slop

Written on Nov 27, 2022

I cut up a beer can to make a shim/bushing. The fitment on a mil-spec tube is way too loose. Otherwise its decent. A bit smaller than expected, more of a "minimalist" style. It is a hard style brace, which i prefer over the softer more flexible SB type.

Very Stout, Nice, but a DOOR FLAW!

Written on Nov 27, 2022

Strongest, stoutest stock I have owned or ever used or seen. HOWEVER, the Door for the storage compartment is impossible to open without prying tools. The door latch is way way too tight! But I wont ever use it anyway. Otherwise perfect but only 4 out of 5 stars because of this door flaw.

Nice Feel, Unique!

Written on Oct 01, 2022

Overlooked company, something i like, different from the ordinary. The feel is great and to make feel right a verticle grip on the forend should be installed. The bottom polymer rail comes attached and is sharp at corners. Put a foregrip on it or file edges. Love the look; modern but has a traditional appeal and feel. I am keeping mine on my WASR 10.

if you like heavy finger grooves, YES!

Written on Oct 01, 2022

What they do not tell you is this grip comes with instructions for fitment to both AK and AR. There are 2 different holes drilled at different angles to fit both type rifles. You have to like big finger grooves to want this grip. Also, it is a hard feel not the overmold sticky rubber feel. It is the heaviest grip i have ever tried; it is a Beast, but still will fit medium to large hands well. I plan to keep, it really grows on you. The handguard from this same company, Phx Technology, is nice also and matches well. I do recommend, and i have felt many, this gets a a solid B+.

CHINA OVERPRICED JUNK!!!

Written on Sep 20, 2022

Disregard the other persons review. Save your money and buy the one from Primary Arms for $18. This is the same chinese made junk and just like PA mounts way to shiny. Read the box "China", so back it goes for a Midwest Industries quality piece.
