Look first off this thing works. But you need to be smarter then it just working. Let it calibrate and adjust. Adjust the focus on the front and hit ok. Read the manual and fidget with it. Works amazing on our 17 HMR. Chickens are safe 24/7. But this things job is to see the threats to our homestead at night. Because Thermal > Night vision. I wouldn’t slap this on a 338 lapis or 30.06 and complain. That’s where $ plays a factor, but if you want to see what’s out there within 150 yards or greater. This entry is an amazing choice. Go through the process, learn it and be patient but above all be realistic. You don’t have sci-fi vision. Does what I need perfectly from the comfort of my bedroom window.
