Cryptic 6.5mm Grendel II Bolt Assembly

Written on Mar 07, 2025

I bought this to replace a broken extractor on a Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel. It’s been installed and taken to the range shooting approximately 20 rounds and it performed flawlessly. Would highly recommend this item!

Great Stock!

Written on Apr 20, 2018

Great stock! Very stable, nice cheek weld, good looking and a good price. Delivery by Optics Planet was swift. I haven’t used the storage and probably never will. That flat dark earth color adds a nice contrast. This is just what I needed!

Great scope! Great price!

I was looking for a new scope for my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor to shoot 1000-1400 yards. I decided on the Bushnell Elite Tactical 6x24x50 with the G2 retical. I wanted to deal with Optics Planet but the list price was $999 whereas at Midway $878. So I contacted Optics Planet via an on-line chat and asked for a deal but they came down to only $950. I told her that I was disappointed and that I could get the same scope at Midway for $878. About 2 minutes later she offered $835 and I accepted. I have not been disappointed! It is clearer than my Vortex PST 4x16x50 which it replaces with more magnification and more MOA and a better side focus. Plus the G2 reticle is awesome! I've been dead on out to 700 yards with Hornady 140 grain ELD. The only thing that it does not have is a zero stop but with the 20 MOA built into the RPR and an additional 20 MOA fron a Larue mount, it bottoms out within one revolution anyway so in effect I have a zero stop.I plan to take it long whenever I can. I've noticed also that the list price at Optics Planet is now $878. I recommend the scope without reservation and the on-line chat at Optics Planet!

Good paper target

Written on Jun 04, 2016

This is a very good large target with multiple buiiseyes for zeroing. Orange color makes it easily seen and because of its large size one can shoot many rounds without the target becoming cluttered and needing change. That saves money better spent on good ammo!

Caldwell AR shooting bipod-prone position

Well buil and sturdy. Legs function as advertised, adjust easily on uneven ground. It attaches easily to the picatinny rail and makes adjustment for cant. It's half the price of a Harris but is more than half the value.
