I got this range case for a song and a dance, so I didn't expect a $250.00 case, nor did I really need one. This case is well-padded, with plenty of room inside for an AR-15 (with the stock fully collapsed) and also room enough for a mounted optic. The case does not have interior straps, velcro or otherwise, to hold your rifle snugly in place. It does have outside pockets for extra magazines, plus a larger outside pocket for some other items you might wish to take to the range. For the money I paid for it, it suits me just fine.
