I am not a professional knife sharpener. This Sharpmaker does the job if you follow the instructions. I tried to do a quick sharpen with less passes on the stones than the suggested amount and did not see the full results until I did the recommended amount of passes. I own a few knives that are made of different steel and that also makes a difference on how many passes you need. I also purchased the ultra fine grit I don’t know if I needed them, but with how fast the sharpening goes I felt I needed to do more. My knives are as sharp if not sharper than when I first bought them.

The bag I received did not have any shoulder straps or strap attachment points (Optics Planet should remove those photos). This bag seems durable, its a bit stiff which is good to help hold its shape. The material seems fine and the padding is decent, I was expecting the foam to be more dense especially on the removable divider / shooting mat, and thickness feels good enough for the trips to the range. The bag is well worth the price, I may change my mind depending on how long it stands up to the range abuse.
