Aero Precision EPC MOE-K2 Lower Parts Kit
Had this on back order for ever and finally had to cancel the order. Not sure what’s happening to AERO but I hope it gets better. I ended up finding this on Optics Planet to finish my EPC9 build “Dark Storm Industries DS-9 Lower Parts Kits” it worked great. You will need to get the 4-40 set screw for the rear threaded takedown pin detent and a grip and screw.

Good option for hard to find EPC9 LPK

Dark Storm Industries DS-9 Lower Parts Kits
Good option especially for the elusive Aero EPC9 lower parts kit. It's mil-spec so no fit issues. If you have an EPC9 the only thing you will need is a 4-40 set screw for the rear threaded takedown pin detent. (and a grip and screw) On the DSI site it says the hammer is designed for a 9mm round. I had a hard time locating this on Optics Planet because it doesn't come up when you search for a 9mm EPC PCC lower parts kit. Hey Optics Planet, maybe add PCC into the description and you will get more sold. To be clear this does not come with any magazine release pieces!

ST on a S&W M&P 9 2.0 compact optic ready
Written on Feb 19, 2026
Picked the ST over the CCW since the frame of this pistol is a little larger than a concealed carry and nothing wrong with having a larger window to look through. Take your time mounting it and check all the screw options you will have. The ST comes with a wide assortment of screws with the bags labeled for size and which brand they will fit. The M&P comes with its own assortment of screws and multiple mounting plates. I ended up using the M&P hardware. The #6 mounting / spacer plate and the type B screws. These screws are a little longer than the Vortex recommended screws and having a few more threads in the hole is good for me. I also triple checked to make sure the screws did not protrude into the slide opening when installed and torqued. The only down side of this ST is the awkward battery position and it’s not an enclosed emitter. But for more $, Vortex makes that style Defender too!

Real Avid Upper Vice Block

Real Avid AR10 Lug-Lok Upper Vise Block
Beats the heck out of trying to clamp the upper in a vice. Had the barrel clamped in some rubber vice jaws and didn’t notice it started slipping and almost took out the gas tube. Bought this and had the hub compatible muzzle brake and adjustable gas block removed and mounted without a problem. Picked up the AR10 and the AR15.

Real Avid Armorer's Master Wrench
Avid took some time in this design. Everything I’ve needed so far for AR15/10. Easy to use and doesn’t cut into your hands like the Trybe wrench.
You make some good stuff Avid, keep up the good work.

A good choice if you want a few more rounds
Written on Feb 20, 2025
Good choice if you want a few more rounds (17) in your standard P365.
Comes with a medium and large replacement back strap, no small. When you swap them, watch for the little nut inside the one that comes on the grip. It’s tiny and will fall out when it’s removed. You will need it to insert in the other back strap to swap it.
If you have a manual safety you will have to cut out the notches on this grip. They have marked an outline on the inside so you can see where to cut/grind/dremel/file so no guessing. Just take your time, go slowly and keep checking the fit.
Of course you will need new (expensive) mags to fill the hole.
Only thing that would have made better, is if it came with a small back strap like the X Macro Comp does.

Real Avid Smart-Fit AR15 Vise Block
Great item.
Have used it a few times now for building lowers. Adjust it to fit your lower, put it in the vice and you’re ready to go. Great for getting the castle nuts torqued.
Purchase their AR10 sleeve so it works with those lowers too.

FYI not compliant in states with magazine disconnect !! (CA)

Review for
SIG SAUER P365 Flat Pistol Trigger KIT
Factory flat replacement trigger.
No tabs/bosses on the trigger to accommodate the magazine disconnect for compliant states.
When disassembling the FCU, be very careful not to slide the safety pin out all the way, the sear spring rests on it for tension and it’s a royal pain to get the sear spring back in place! Some DIY videos show to remove both the safety pin and sear pin. Look for a video that shows just partially pulling out the safety pin. Even if the safety lever drops out that’s no big deal to put back in. This info is intended for us do it yourselfers, if you’re a pistol/gun smith I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem for you.

Do your homework
Written on Mar 05, 2024
Be careful if you are planning on using this SA folding adapter with the JP silent capture buffer spring! In two places in the description is says it work's with it. "Compatible right out of the box" and "includes a bolt extension compatible with the JP silent capture spring" I found out neither of these are true at this time. They have encountered a manufacturing problem with the bolt extension and it is not available at this time. As for the adapter itself it looks really well made, I had seen some reviews about a gap when it was unfolded but saw nothing like that with the one I received. Looked to be very good quality but since it wouldn't match up with the JP silent buffer spring I had to send it back. Will keep checking with SA and hope they get the issue resolved. Probably would have given it five stars but was lied to twice so three stars. Hope this helps some of you.
