After receiving this scope today when I first inspected it I immediately noticed on the bottom of the turret housing "made in Japan" which I was expecting the print on the scope to say "made in USA". To say the least I was a bit disappointed. I did not spend almost $2000 to have it made other than USA. Everything else seemed of good build quality but I don't want a product from an American company that was made overseas. Nothing in the specs or description said it was made overseas otherwise I wouldn't have purchased this model. Needless to say I am returning it for another Nightforce scope made in USA.
