This upper is very well built. As a semi-auto, I'm sure it would run forever and ever. However, this upper's design is portrayed in a way that promotes its use in rapid fire. The torture-test advertisements, etc. However, the bolt carrier is an "AR15" or "semi auto" cut, which is actually below industry standard (most AR bolts are M16 profile). Therefor, these guns are incompatible with select-fire lowers, binary triggers, FRT triggers, and anything of the like. If you want the reliability of a semi auto piston upper (albeit bulky), this is for you. However, for those of us who responded to the marketing that this was built for rapid fire, it is not.
