For the average size person, this could be used for a long upper as well. The weight is significantly more than most braces which helps with recoil management. During my review I fired about 150 rounds with it and found it to be very comfortable to use. Installation was about the same as any other. Before dropping the big bucks on this I read and watched many reviews and the only con is price. They could have started these at 180.00 and would have sold twice as many. I don’t mind paying for this though because sig put the money behind bringing the pistol brace to where it is now. The footwork in the beginning was a great service to the sport shooting enthusiast.
