I really love the concept of this item, and I do like it personally, but there is a lot of room for improvements. The manufacturer had to give up a lot to make it universal. The biggest thing that could be a challenge is color matching, I had to exchange my first one because I bought light grey, and ended up needing dark grey for my truck. Optics Planet took great care of me, but it is still a hassle nonetheless. Another issue is that the pin/inserts being universal, the headrest comes with adapters, which work, but still not a great fit. The fingerprint ID is a bit finicky, but does work. The magnetic door on the side is very good, and fits so well that you can't tell there is a door there, even if you are looking for it. It is much firmer than my stock headrest for obvious reasons. The space inside is ample, and can fit anything you would reasonably expect. It does not have a tilting feature, so for me, the headrest sits to far back. Probably the best way to decide wether or not to buy this, is if you want to actually use your headrest as a headrest, if you actually use your headrests and it is important, I would probably pass. If you are like me and rarely, if ever use your headrest, this is a good product and I recommend it. Of course, last but not least, it is expensive, and most people will probably want the matching headrest, which is another swipe of the credit card, and that will put you out $500-$600 depending on the discounts you can get. It is a pretty basic product, kinda hard to screw up. I purchased this for a custom Glock 17L, while I was waiting for my Zaffiri backplate to arrive on backorder. It looks and fits great, no complaints.

Fantastic trigger with a good reset. Although it is not the lightest trigger I have seen, when you look at all the compromises in a trigger, this is an excellent balance of features. I have bought two now and all I have is positive things to say. Although it is neither the cheapest or most expensive, I would say it is an excellent value, and just as a bonus, Rise has excellent customer service, as I contacted them about a pin compatibility issue with an ADM lower. Not only were they lightning fast in there response, but they sent me a different set of trigger pins, for free, and I never even asked for it. A++ all the way around.

Pin diameter measured with a micrometer was .278-.279. Very nice pins, I would buy them again. Building an Armalite pattern (MARS-H lower and J.P. Side Charging Upper) has gone surprisingly smoothly, but finding pins that I was happy with has been the most difficult part because not all manufacturers put the dimensions up on their website, not sure why as this seems so obvious, especially with the AR-10 platform which has lots of compatibility issues. I tried J.P. Push Button and Battle Arms EPS-308, J.P. Ran .274-.275, Battle Arms ran a consistent .276. Those pins might be better in a DPMS pattern, but these 2A titanium pins were by far the best in my Armalite MARS-H lower.
