Previous owner of several units of this same brand. The FDE finish looks solid, others complained of scratches but haven't really pushed this to the limit yet... we'll see. Ease of operation. Easy access to battery. Will try it on the range and will update if necessary.

These combo items look great & the texture and finish seem well-made. I ordered in FDE color and it matches perfectly with rest of furniture. I think these are mil-specs but even commercial ones look the same. I like these a lot and will recommend to others.
