I have gone through over 20 pairs of light hiking boots over the years and feel these are the best of any. I have had these boots for two months while wearing them daily as well as hiking on trails at least ten miles every week. These are comfortable, stylish and mostly waterproof. In hiking on wet and muddy trails my feet have stayed quite dry. The soles seem to grip well and I am very happy with these boots/shoes. The only compliant is that the shoe strings are way too long and it took a while for me to figure out how to tie them without the laces coming untied. I just tie them with an extra tug to make the laces tighter than usually necessary.
