Barrel nut and hand guard are high quality and work as expected. I especially like the feel of the hand guard. The edges of the slots are slightly beveled, resulting in a smoother feel. Strong as well.
Great scope

Received this scope a couple of weeks ago. Before mounting on rifle I secured it in a vice on a workbench and placed a Redfield (grid) target at 50 yards. Dialing the elevation turret, the MOA values appeared to be spot on. Same was true for the sub-tensions. Very pleased! The scope seems to be quite sturdy and to my eye , the glass is clear from edge to edge. I have used it to send maybe a hundred rounds down range in a varmint rifle (as far as 800 yards). Most of shots were aimed using sub-tensions at various power settings and seemed to were perfectly. This is my first 1st focal plane scope. I have been very pleased with it
