I ordered the Spike specifically for my Echelon because I wanted a green dot 4 MOA. This was about the only one I found. Install went on great. The armorer at the range guided me through the steps and we tightened everything down to spec and with blue loctite. I fired 10 shots to sightbit in. Accurate after 3. Minimal adjustments needed. I put it away since I was in a 1911 match. Next day fired less than 100 rounds, the optic cracked in the upper left corner. Contacted Optics Planet who was out of this optic and suggested I contact the manufacturer, which I did. Very nice people. Sent out a new optic and should get here in a week. What I did get to shoot of it, it was very accurate and even with my astigmatism, so the dot looks like a line, I was able to learn to use the dot pretty fast and get a good rythym going. Shooting 3 shot strings led to this optic cracking. Not sure why, but the customer service is great so far. I'll update this later after the new one arrives.
