Mounted this on my Delton AR using .75in riser. This allows the metallic sights to be seen through this sight,at the bottom. This does not enter fear with seeing through the red dot. Metallic sights can be used without the 2X magnifier. This also allows for easy zero. Just mount, look through the metallic sight and move the dot until it is setting on top of the front sight post and it is ready to shoot. Considering buying another to put on my 44mag revolver.

I mounted this scope just like the picture in the description The eye relief is too short. The only way to make it work is to put it on a cantilever mount several inches to the rear. The defeats the purpose of a compact scope so I reinstalled my full length scope and returned this one.
