Review for
Holosun HM3X 3x Red Dot Sight Magnifier
I got the HM3x to magnify my HS515GM red dot.
It comes with a QD mount that flips to the right, you can reverse this to flip left (this let it fit with magpul mbus rear sight - the mbus adjustment screw gets in the way flipping right). The flip action feels very solid / secure. The QD arm has a little latch to lock it in place when closed.
It comes with a spacer you can add to the bottom of the magnifier if you need more height. All in all, the mount feels like good quality and worked for me without any issues.
The eye relief is pretty tight, but the glass is very clear and sight picture is quite nice. The adjustment turrets are easy to turn and zeroing to my dot was simple.
It also comes with elastic lens covers and tools.
It works very well for 3x magnification and is a great budget option for a red dot magnifier!

Drops in, works well

The barrel is very easy to install. It drops in where the stock barrel sits and fits perfectly. It will extend your barrel a little under 1 inch. The included compensator works pretty well to reduce my Hellcat’s snap. It is still snappy, but it’s quite a bit less with the compensator. The included thread protector is a nice touch as well. The self indexing compensator is pretty easy to install once you get the hang of it. I recommend watching a video on it.
