I have one of these on a 7.62 build, and based on that put one on a 5.56 build. It is surprising how sturdy / secure it is - NO wobble. Like it.

These seem well made. Lines are straight, cuts are evenly spaced, they mount securely. The supplied M-Lok attachment screws were a little fiddly to use - but secure once installed. Really shoud be 4 1/2 stars. These are a bargain.

Well made, sturdy, and small. Dot is clear and well defined. Why not 5-star? Because you have to remove it to change the battery - thus, re-zero.

Drop-in fit, reduces frame battering, tune-able (5 springs included). Worth it - I have a DPM in each of my semi-auto handguns.

UM Tactical Delrin Optic Shim
I installed Vortex Venoms on two 1911 pistols (Dan Wesson Valor 9mm w/ Nighthawk's IOS plate system, Springfield Range Officer 9mm with machining done by C&H). Mounting the sights, both were too-far-to-correct low. Sad.
SO - bought these shims - installed the shims. They fit over the mounting plate studs perfectly.
I centered the adjustments on the Venoms - then only had to turn about 1 1/4 turns to get them both Just Right.
This product is effective, easy to install, and very inexpensive. Buy extras.

Good points and bad points

The Good - small. bright, good beam.
The Bad - on-off paddle switch was 'fiddley' - especially the right side. It would not reliably turn on or off, sometimes turned on with incidental contact. They're using the elastic deformation of the plastic case to be the paddle spring, and I think casse fitment issues made it unreliable. I returned it.
