Extremely Terrible Riflescope (XTR)

Just wanted to pass along some info that might save someone time and hassle.
IMO, Burris XTR II is substandard. I got it yesterday and was able to mount it on a tripod to inspect.
The glass is horrible.
The turrets are Junior High. They don't feel precise at all.
The parallax control literally feels gritty.
There were times when attempting to focus that the sharpness and color of images would change not because of rotating the parallax knob. It changed because of play in the parallax knob.
It was a big letdown for a $1,100 scope discounted to $700 total cost. I might expect this from a $200-$300 riflescope. This scope actually belongs in that price point.
I wanted a 25X on the 6.5. However, for peace of mind I'll probably just get another 3.5-21 DMRII.
Better glass in a 21 looks better than crappy glass in a 25.
