I have an average-sized adult male hand. A prior pistol grip with beaver tail was too deep and wide from web of hand to trigger to allow my thumb to comfortably reach the safety. Grip made thumb point off to side, rather than parallel to rifle, forcing shooter to loose position to reach and release safety. THIS grip is perfect. Nice, comfortable shape that puts thumb exactly where it should be for that single, tactile "click" to release the safety. Aesthetics also coordinate well with aftermarket butt stocks. Yes, I bought a second one for an AR-10 build.
Maybe I just got a bad one. Installed on a new AR-10 build. Very disappointed to feel two, distinct and consistent scrapes before the trigger broke. Must have tried it out ten times, each time hoping it would somehow not do it again. Nope. The drop-in style made it impossible to access the sear, or I would have tried to polish up the contact points, clean it and re-apply some fresh grease or something. This is a major imperfection that makes it impossible for a shooter to enjoy the benefits of a "competition" trigger with a light break. Ended up having to return it. I'll go back to a Timney or some other reliable brand.
I purchased three kits of the mil-spec buffer and spring with the buffer tube, castle nut and end plate for three AR lower builds. Parts are great quality. Mil-spec tube fit both Magpul butt stocks and Adaptive Tactical EX Performance butt stock with excellent tolerance. I especially liked the little tab included on the threaded end of the buffer tube which ensures it is screwed in to the correct place, but also lines up the tube slot at a perfect six o'clock position for mounting the butt stock straight. Have not shot with it yet. Yes, I would buy it again.
This was probably just one bad one in the bunch. Out of the box, the red reticle was blurry and showed a triple image rather than crisp lines. Additionally, the reticle itself was very, very small, making the crosshairs surrounding the circle almost useless to the eye. This would have been a good choice for my AR, especially for the low price. However, low price on a bad reticle or scope is still a bad scope. I will stick to name brands in good optics going forward.
