Value and simple

No issues with the product in shipping. Used this to change out the barrel on my PSA AR pistol. Only issue was that I had to use a C-clamp on the top. As you tighten it in the vise, the top wants to spread apart. This can be fixed with a good 6in C-clamp.

Light weight, rigid, comfortable

No issues with the product in regards to shipping. Handguard came with the barrel nut, and the installation tool that has a 1/2drive input for a torque wrench. Handguard was easy to install, torque specs are on the installation tool itself. Handguard feels nice to hold, it vents heat well, and even tho light, feels sturdy.

Exactly the performance I was wanting

No issues with barrel upon arrival. Looks great. Installed This barrel on my PSA 10.5 and also replaced the PSA handguard with a MidWestInd 10.5in m-lock slim handguard. Was able to reuse the stock PSA gas block and tube. The barrel break in procedure according to Luth’s website is, “clean the bore and star chamber after every round for the first 25 rounds. After that, an additional 200 rounds may be needed in order to see accuracy.” I did the barrel break in procedure +120rounds of Frontier M193. 2MOA groups easy.

Would I recommend? Yea..........

Scope looks great, Vortex has amazing customer service. The brightness settings are very intuitive, lowest level can be used at low light/night and Brightest drowns out the sun. Scope and it’s vortex mount are solid and maintain zero well. Reticle is great for known ranged targets. However, limited options for sizing/ ranging unknown targets at unknown ranges. But the 50yd-200yd zero the reticle specifies makes sense. Other down side is that scope w/ mount are HEAVEY

Would I recommend? Meh.

I have this on a PSA 10.5 w/ free float m-lock hand guard. optic is a Sight Mark Ultra Shot HD. At night on a full moon, on the red dot setting, and lowest power brightness (1-5), the red dot pretty much washes out the green tritium insert. I have to flip up the magpul BUS with the ghost ring to drown out the brightness of the red dot to see the tritium. Trijicon seems to have brighter tritium. But better than nothing. If trying to co-witness and use the tritium and red dot to align sights, your optic better have STUPID low brightness in order to use in lowlight/night.
