I have a few of these on rifles and shotguns. I like the ability to adjust while the weapon is slung. The material feels tough and durable, not flimsy like the free slings that come with guns. The gap that appears forward of the adjustment tab can get a bit wide and may interfere with things hanging off the gun, your chest rig or duty belt.

Review for
Aimpoint PRO 1x38mm Reflex Red Dot Sight
I have two of these. First one is a bit older, has the knobs on top and side with the rubber caps. Second one is a bit newer, has the cross adjustments on top and side and is a bit more flush to the body of the optic. They both install the same and hold a proper zero. The older one has been through a couple rifle classes where I ran the rifle hard and dirty. I checked for zero a week after class and it was still on. Every few months you have to turn the mounting knob so it clicks for proper torque, but that's normal. I've never replaced the batteries on either of mine, but I don't leave them on all the time. They are a bit bulky and heavy, but they're tough. The dot isn't as great as I want it do be, but I prefer a single dot in the middle over all these jacked up designs that interfere with sight picture. The dot kind of looks like a splotch on high settings indoors, but when you're outside in the sun it looks fine.
