I bought this to hunt hogs at night. My hope was to be able to see them without artificial light. In my experience, hogs are very wary and any light - white, red, green - will alert them.
I have this mounted on a .308 rifle and hunt at 40 yards.
When the hog came into the feeder at about 11pm, the moon was behind a cloud so it was very dark.
Looking through the ThOR, the hog was so bright, you couldn't miss her.
The hog ran after the first shot but I was able to easily find and finish her with the ThOR 4.
The hog showed up so bright in this scope that I will take it with me on evening deer hunts to help me find a downed animal in the dark.
The battery life is as advertised. I didn't turn the ThOR off until long after the hunt and collection of the hog and it was still chugging along.
This was my first thermal scope but I think I will own more.

This bipod is a must have for the Tavor. It deploys easily and provides a stable shooting platform.
I had one issue - there was no hex wrench in the package. Its a standard metric size and, yes, I had one in my set so I was able to install the bipod as soon as I got it, but I wanted the extra wrench.
The bipod replaces the storage cap on the grip and I keep a cleaning kit in there. I would need the hex wrench with the gun if I wanted to access the cleaning kit.
I contacted Optics Planet and they arranged for FAB to send me the wrench.

Not sure why OP thinks I bought the red one, but I assure you - it was green.
I bought this for my wife and she loves it. The green dot is visible even in daylight and I installed the unit in just a few minutes.
It adds very little bulk to the S&W Shield so concealed carry is not an issue.

I installed this on my rifle's Picatinny rail on a Sunday and bore sighted the laser.
The following Saturday I prepared to go to the range and the light fell off when I removed the rifle from the safe.
The screw that holds the light to the rail was broken in two. The screw is very thin and appears to have separated upon installation. I contacted Truglo and they accused me of over tightening the mount. They agreed to replace the entire unit and told me to ship it back. They wanted me to pay the return shipping!
I did not over tighten and I don't believe I should pay return shipping on a warranty repair. I also suggested to Truglo that they could send me the screw and I would replace it myself. They refused.
I contacted Optics Planet and they graciously sent me a shipping label so that I could return the item for credit. I will buy a different brand of laser / light combo for my rifle.
I will continue to do business with Optics Planet.
