I zeroed one of these optics on a 40 cal AR pistol for a friend. He got the AR pistol and this red dot...or was it green? from Palmetto State Armory. To my astonishment, I was VERY impressed at the accuracy of the dot. I got it zeroed on the small black spray paint mark in the middle of the 5 ring on the paper silhouette at about 40 to 50 yards. Now I'm looking for one for myself, but the price has gone up on them. He got his for like $60 minus a $40 credit because of an error on one of his orders.

I have an AR15 pistol with this brand upper and lower that a buddy gave me. First the front lug got loose, with the aluminum internal that's inside the polymer started rattling. Make a long story short, my AR pistol broke on half when the upper broke off from the lower at the lugs as the entire bolt just slid out with the round it had chambered after it had already gone bang. As expected, ATI didn't want to give me the time of day and back their brand up because I was not the original purchaser. The lower is still intact, so im just transferring the barrel handguard and forward assist to a new billet upper & will run it with the still intact ATI lower on the AR. If the lower eventually breaks, at least it was free. But I wouldn't pay to buy their brand of polymer ARs, especially if they only wanna back up their product if you are the original buyer.

If you buy one of these like I did, dont collapse the brace all the way like a regular stock. It's shorter than the length of the buffer tube and you will pop off the rear cap on the brace and break the plastic tabs that hold it in place. Luckily SB Tactical sent me a replacement at no charge after I showed them pics and a video of what happened. Other then this, the size and feel is great. Just wish it were a bit more sturdier with the plastic they use on the end cap

I was gifted this set. When I was cleaning the upper a few days ago, I noticed a crack in the plastic on the left side of the front lug. I tried reaching out by email and haven't heard back from ATI. But looked on their website and looks like it would not fall under warranty cuz I'm not the original purchaser and have no paperwork. So keep an eye for developing cracks by those lugs. I would not recommend spending $ on this. I only have it because someone gave it to me.
