This is an incredible tripod. I was surprised at how many features it has and how well it functions. It is a great value. I love the fact that you can adjust the angle of the tripod legs, that gives a person a lot more options if there's restricted space for the tripod location. And it actually does have a death grip! It functions very well, and you can just feel that it's a quality well built product.

This is definitely very well designed and constructed seemingly with high quality materials. The pickable/removal pre-cut foam is a great feature, allowing you to kind of custom make the size of the item carried fit snug. I bought the high visible yellow model, and use it to pack a valuable item in my boat when I go. The bright color makes it pretty easy to find when tossed in with a bunch of other stuff...

I recommend it. I have NOT tested the water tightness, and have not had it long, but I'm happy and do not expect there to be a single issue. It is lockable. One last note; the fit is so snug when the snaps are released for opening, it was a little challenging (initially) to open as it fits together so tightly. I thought I hadn't properly released the snaps at first, but it just required more "persuasion", LOL...
