These boots feel great! I can hunt and hike all day in them. They are light but sturdy and have great ankle support. Out hiking and then sitting, my toes stay nice and warm with hunting socks made of wool. Easy to break in, just wear them out on a hike or two. Feet stay nice and dry after walking through marshy areas. Great grip too. I love these boots! Also easy to lace up and laces stay tied and don't slip.
Vortex wins again

There's a reason most of my rifles are sporting Vortex optics, cause they're awesome! I just installed this scope on my Ruger 10/22, what a great combo. The eye relief is very forgiving even at max zoom 7x. Very smooth zoom ring and super clear glass.

Ruger 10/22 Scope Base Adapter
I just installed this on a Ruger 10/22. I was replacing an old, unadjustible Simmons scope with a new Vortex. The old scope was an 11mm dovetail. This new Ruger rail has both picatinny and 3/8" dovetail. Before synching down hardware, i checked for play in rail, none. Perfect fit!
