Great fit, brought new life to my 30yo 11-87. My original wood stock was loose and cracking and the recoil pad was about as soft as a walnut. Installing only took a few minutes, the directions were basically nonexistent, plenty of videos on YouTube. It also had a better recoil pad than my son's newer 870 express.

This item is very thin and isn't really made to fit over a hat, the skinnier part needs to be a lot thinner to fit over the hat and the part that is supposed to go over your ears needs to be a lot wider to cover your ears.
Comfortable once broke in

Nice supportive comfortable boot. I bought these for pheasant hunting to replace my old kangaroo leather ones. They definitely need to be broken in before you take them on a pheasant hunt or a 10hr day at work. I've been breaking them in at work on a couple of 5hr Saturdays, the tounge is definitely an issue untill you wear them a while. I buy Carolinas for work, these seem to be of equal quality and offer great support walking on rebar, concrete and various types of rock and hard compacted subgrade. Be sure to allow for ample break in time.

American made quality

Brought new life back to a gun that hasn't been shot in years. Good quality stainless and aluminum parts. I put the heavier spring in, it cycled 1 1/4 oz 3 1/4 dram loads just fine, anything lighter wouldnt eject. The only negative is that it really doesn't come with any type of comprehensive directions, found some videos on youtube.
