First I was hesitant to purchase this based off the other review, but from prior word of mouth I wanted to give this a try. The one I purchased was a Demo listing, I knew that, I accept that, additional savings so moving on. It arrived looking in flawless shape, except missing slide plate screws (spoiler alert, Zaffiri responded quickly and will resolve that). I also used a Zaffiri parts kit because if this didn’t work I wasn’t going to be blamed on the slide parts I chose. I had it assembled in under 20 minutes and it was no different than any other Glock. Some recommend a special tool to install the channel liner sleeve. I didn’t need one, but some may, I don’t speak for anyone else. Moving on. Barrel is a brand new SilencerCo TB, I had it lying around, so decided to try it. Host is P80 lower with Ghost Inc trigger which ran flawlessly with my factory G34 upper. At the range the was a consistent failure to fully return to battery, with a very oiled gun, each time just needed a rear tap to fully seat. This almost completely went away after 6 mags. I was out of ammo. I fully expect this will be golden after another 6 mags. Cerakote looks excellent, love the sniper grey color, matches my precision bolt gun perfectly. I’m extremely happy with this purchase so far. Maybe I just got lucky �‍♂️

First off the slide back plate I received was polymer not aluminum. Don’t care. I only bought this kit because I was partially concerned about the slide not working as I was using a Zaffiri slide on a P80 frame I built (which previously worked flawlessly with a factory G34 upper), a Ghost INC trigger, and a Silencerco barrel. So I wanted to rule out Zaffiri saying any issues were the upper parts. Initially the slide would not return to battery after shooting, after 6 mags this issue went away and now it’s just doing what it should. From delivery to assembled slide way maybe 20 minutes. If you know how to take apart a Glock you know how to assemble this slide. If you believe you need the special tool to install the channel liner, then you probably do. I didn’t.

After reading the reviews, and seeing what some said, I was concerned. I decided to buy two, 1) so that i would be close to free shipping, 2) because then I had a better chance of getting a good one. One of them is practically unused, brand new other than some surface scratches, the other has orange spray paint in several places, and VERY slight surface rust in a few places. For what I paid I am happy with my purchase. Be aware, if you fill these to the brim with ammo, you may be unable to lift them, or you may damage the handle. 40MM rounds are very large so not many fit in here, if you fill this square full of 9mm loose, you’ll have over 3k rounds and it will weigh a LOT
