I installed this beauty in my new 9mm AR with the 4.5 lb spring.
Like all Geissele triggers, this is trigger perfection.
I'll be using this in Pistol Caliber Carbine events ... not that I'm competitive, as I largely suck, but what a great time!
This trigger comes with 3.5 lb and 4.5 lb trigger sprints and a full-power hammer spring, so the flexibility is great.
The take up is almost non-existent and the break is very crisp and precise.
After a few more outings, I will try the 3.5 lb spring, as well.
This is everything I've come to expect from Geissele.

This is my second SPARC II.
My first is mounted on a S&W M&P 15-22 MOE edition for plinking fun.
I love the fit, finish, mounting options and the controls.
I've had no issues with that one in the last couple of years, so when I put together a 9mm AR for Pistol caliber Carbine fun, the choice for a rugged and reliable red-dot was a no-brainer!
The battery life is amazing in these things, too.
These things just work. If there is an issue the good folks at Vortex will make it right for you in no time at all.

Used this in my latest build. I was not expecting to love the 9mm AR as much as I do. I built it to have something to play with at Pistol Caliber Carbine events.
The barrel fit perfectly.
The barrel has a flawless finish.
The barrel is very light, especially given the profile, I guess the bigger hole in it contributed to that!
The accuracy is something that really surprised me, as this thing is a tack driver, as I was expecting less, and could not be happier.
I've had the gun for a week and have 455 rounds through it ... was hoping for more, but yesterday's match was called due to rain. :-(
Be aware that the 9mm barrels include the barrel extension in the length, as that is where the bolt meets the breech, so the length of the gun forward of your upper receiver will be slightly less than it would on a .223/5.56 due to the locking bolt. This means your furniture selection might not fit as you expect, and you might want to use a slightly shorter handrail.
Some useful info, as the actual dimensions of the barrel were nowhere to be found (with regards to barrel extension, and sectional lengths:
My setup was a QC10 receiver set, this barrel, and the JP 9mm Tactical Compensator and the Hogue Rifle Length hand guard in Red Lava (#15474 - included in their buttstock/buffer/grip/handrail kit #15478). For folks interested in the dimensions: the hogue hand guard is 12.5" long and includes the barrel nut, there is 2" of barrel exposed between the end of the hand guar

The YHM/KNS Anti-rotation pins are a staple on all of my AR builds and upgrades.
Lots of folks say they aren't necessary, but just yesterday, after a short session of buffer testing in a a 9mm SBR, a buddy of mine texted me and said, "My trigger pin on SBR was partially out," followed shortly thereafter by, "Looking for my KNS ones."
If you run your gun, you will get pins walking and screws loosening. These are facts of life.
God, in his infinite wisdom, gave us Loctite and KNS pins, because God is a real American and He loves guns! ;-)
They are inexpensive insurance and they look cool.

OK ... my first review was a tad on the harsh side. Turns out I had a bad unit. The replacement unit (that Optics Planet sent me in no time flat) works perfectly. I took it to the range today ... 112 degrees, in direct sunlight, shot 121 rounds through it and did not miss a single report. The software is fantastic and the measurements were accurate, as I was shooting factory loads to establish a baseline, and these have been tested with several other chronographs under similar conditions in the same guns. I took it in the shade and fired a few more using the lights to check that ... could not be happier.
So ... don't let the fact that I got a bad one deter you. Optics Planet, as always, had service and prices second to none!

I tested this with factory amy from a variety of sources. I was using it outdoors in AZ with an absent tend if 86, in overcast, but bright conditions. Distance to china was 10' Tested loads from Federal, Blazer, LAX Ammo, Freedom Munitions, Perfects, Remington & Winchester. The AE45A (Federal American Eagle .45 Auto 230 RN has a published velocity of 870 fps_ As an example, the Caldwell had it between 119 and 1206 fps in a 15-shot string from a 5: Kimber Super Carry Custom. This was the only string (average of 8 rounds per sting), that recorded all of the shots in the string. I tested this with 15 total strings. Some were with 9mm anon as low as 200 fps with this same ammo. In order to get any results on a majority of the shots fired, I had to use the built-in LED's.
I really wanted to love this Chrono ... the hardware is solid, the tripod is even first ate ... the app is great ... the bluetooth works well ... but these were basically ideal conditions, and it provided me absolutely no useful data. Kinda like the car with all of the perfect features, except it isn't actually drivable.
Maybe I got a lemon - these are BRAND new ... but I'm not sold.

I bought this riser to use on an AR pistol in order to get the Bushnell TRS-25 (with no riser) up a bit. I use the TRS-25 and a Truglo MicroTAC laser on it, as opposed to iron sights. Since I use this as an on-the-go pistol, keeping the low profile was important, with no need to co-witness iron sights. So for me this works perfectly. I strongly recommend the QD riser, as it is sturdy, easy to remove, and has a great fit and finish. Another quality product from UTG.

Grip is very comfortable and very sturdy. It provides a very positive grip with it rubber exterior, but is still rigid and sturdy. The grip is a very quality item that looks as good as it feels. It has average store capacity with positive closure. I will be using more of these. Can be a little tough to get at ties, but worth the backorder.

Installation was a breeze. This specific model does not require a gap between the shoulder and the block, so it is that much easier. Took literally less than 5 minutes to install. Works like a charm.
