I put this onto a AK47 pistol. I turned the mounting bracket 180 degrees and reinstalled it backwards on the NcStar scope. By doing this, you get the reach toward the shooter you need because the rails are mounted too far forward which would make the NcStar optic too far forward. Switching the scope mount around like I did put it at a perfect shooting distance for me. This mounting method moves the scope back a few inches This saves you a lot of money mounting additional rails onto your AK47 pistol. It also saves on additional weight of more rails and mounts.
