The tritium night sights made by AmeriGlo are by far some of the best I've ever used. I have them on at least six of my handguns, as night sights are a requirement by my department for duty carry. AmeriGlo's "Trooper" series were originally designed to fulfill a US government contract and the result is a very high quality and robust night sight set. The green tritium vials are extremely bright and the Lumiglo ring surrounding the front sight tritium vial really makes the front sight stand out in all lighting conditions, especially in daylight!I mounted these sights on my personal off-duty carry Hellcat Pro. Installation was easy and the sight height is just right for a lower 1/3 co-witness with a mounted micro red dot RMSc optic. All in all, these are great night sights, and I'll be buying other AmeriGlo sights from Optics Planet.com!

Being new to micro dot sights for handguns, I was skeptical. But this optic has made me a believer! The aluminum housing is robust & tough as nails. The coated glass lens is crisp with little or no aberrations at the edges. After being idle for about 3-4 minutes, the shake-awake feature is instantaneous and extends battery life. Having the brightness control buttons on opposing sides is a great feature and can almost be manipulated with your thumbs from a firing grip. Mounting was very simple on my Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro. No mounting plate necessary and the included screws and wrenches is a plus! For an entry-level red dot sight that is about $100 less than others I looked at, I am truly impressed with the outstanding quality of Swamp Fox products. I highly recommend the Sentinel to anyone looking for an affordable but high-quality red dot for their compact optic-ready pistol!
