Flawed - Poor Design & Engineering!

Crimson Trace Laser Grip for Sig Sauer P220
From having read all the product reviews, I was quite disappointed to learn, as I was in the process of installing the grips, which was not a streamlined off & back-on task, that to change-out depleted batteries for fresh ones, you have take-off, switch-out the batteries, and then reinstall the grips... one would think that with the design team available that Crimson Trace could design, engineer and produce grips with an exterior-access battery pocket that would negate having to remove the grips to change-out the batteries and which would reliably function in the field! I sent them back and would not recommend them.

Ordered via the Internet with the good assistance of a sales rep who also assisted with the selection & the price. Prompt shipping, fairly good instructions, and easy setup in about 45-minutes, which allowed viewing the same evening. Always wanted a telescope to view the heavens and the NexStar Evolution 8" certainly fits the bill. Now all I need to do is drop a few trees which I need to do to increase my currently limited viewing area. We live on a mountain top in Western NC, so once the close-in trees are down, I should be able to take full advantage of the telescope, it's 8" glass & it's computer pointing/ guidance system thru my iPad - can't wait!

Mounted this on my early 90's BushMaster HBAR with a carry handle mounted scope, which required the cheek riser for rock-steady, comfortable sighting. Well made, easy to install & does what it's supposed to do well!
