Received the item in great shape and speedy delivery. Simple to install with the supplied shims, although the shims had a larger Inside diameter. I'm guessing maybe 3/4" instead of 5/8". I installed it onto a AR 10 308 and it reduced the felt recoil by about 50 percent. Made my rifle a real pleasure to shot. No more thump when I pull the trigger. It reduced muzzle rise to almost non existent and was able to stay on target. Considering building another large caliber rifle and plan on getting another one for it. If you use this muzzle brake you won't be disappointed.
