I recently purchased this laser/flashlight combo. I was looking for a combo that was smaller than the other similar products on the market and that could possibly work on a handgun and sub gun too . I found that it works best on my handgun. The sub gun hunt will continue. I like the sleekness of the design. Unlike most handgun flashlights, it doesn't stick way out from the pistol body. In fact, it doesn't even reach out was far as the end of the rail. I put it on a new Sig P229 Legion with a 3.9" barrel, so it's not even a long barrel. The activation controls are easy to use. There is one paddle on each side of the trigger guard, so you can turn on with either hand while not breaking your grip. There are four flashlight/laser settings. Light is bright as well as laser (indoors al least). Comes with two tools for easy sight adjustment. My only complaint, and it could be considered minor, would be that you have to really commit to mounting it to your gun. Once you loosen and position all of the parts and then tighten the screws down with a screw driver it is on good and tight. And that's great if you don't want to be able to take it on and off in a hurry. So, you cannot carry your handgun and flash light/laser separately and assemble as needed in any quick way. Overall, I like it.
