I was looking for a compact weaving light. I found it. Having had the SureFire xc1 and not being impressed with the output and spill the aplc came along and upped the bar. Great fit and finish, surprisingly brighter with better spill and the operation paddles very easy to use even with one hand. Although I prefer the downward motion to operate the light like the xc1 this has been a welcome upgrade. Have added one to my better half and my good friends pistols. Would love to see one hat accepts the cr 123a battery and have the downward operation. Also have the trl7 and not impressed despite the lumen difference. The aplc is still being used daily.
Great sights yet again.

Review for
Trijicon HD XR Night Sight Set
Have had the standard hd’s In both the yellow/green and orange for years. Found the yellow to distracting in bright sunlight me the orange to be better for my eyes. Also found the standard hd to fill up the sight picture and as advertised the xr’s allow for more light and are just as quick and accurate as the standard hd. The only thing I would like is the front serrated and the lens inset to alleviate glare.
