45 degree short throw selectors are the way, and Radian makes my favorite one

green is nice, threads strip easily
Written on May 21, 2026
I wanted to try a green dot because I’ve heard it’s better for astigmatism. I can’t tell the difference as far as the smear or blur is concerned, but the green dot is MUCH easier to see. The unit seems pretty well made, and the mount that comes with it is a pretty good design and has recoil lugs. Unfortunately the mounting holes under the red dot are not reinforced with inserts so it’s just aluminum, and one hole stripped out as I was transferring this between rifles to find where it was gonna live permanently.

Smoothest upper I’ve ever owned.
Written on Feb 07, 2026
I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. I bought this upper stripped, so no BCG, no charging handle, and no muzzle device, but it did have steel reinforced QD sockets, which is not shown in photos. The fit and finish are impeccable, every line is clean and edges are all smooth as butter.
I paired it with a Wilson Combat nickel boron BCG, Radian Raptor SL charging handle, Kineti-Tech brake/blast redirector sleeve, and put that on a PSA pistol lower with a Geissele SSA-E trigger. Zeroed at 50 yards and it printed 1” groups with mediocre 62 grain green tips. I have no doubt this setup will do 1 MOA at 100 yards with 77 grain OTM.
This upper shoots super smooth. Geissele really got the gas just right for the 11.5” barrel. Very mild recoil impulse, but never felt undergassed, and cycles perfectly every time.

Threads not in spec.
Written on Feb 06, 2026
The threads are advertised on Infinite’s website as being 13/16-16, BUT I found out the hard way they are incompatible with other devices with 13/16-16 threads, which makes it a $39 chunk of useless aluminum.

top tier quality
Written on Feb 01, 2026
I’ve been using Geissele triggers for years, but this was my first upper from them. The fit and finish is impeccable, and it’s super solid, with perfect fit to my lower and honestly every bit of it oozes quality and perfection. I couldn’t be happier

not perfect, but still a great buy
Written on May 13, 2025
The Strike Eagle line has improved a lot since the earlier generations. Fit and finish are excellent, turrets have good positive click adjustment, with good return to zero.
Glass clarity is pretty decent from 1-6, but suffers a bit at 8x, though still usable and still an advantage for my old eyes even at 8x.
The OPMOD version has a nice anodized dark earth color that compliments Magpul FDE well

EoTech’n like an EoTech do…
Written on May 23, 2024
It’s an EoTech, so the reputation is earned.
I went for the OPMOD DCR version and I love this reticle! I’m running it on a 16” AK with TWS dogleg rail cover, which gives it a height over bore of 3.25”. DCR chevron works out to an 8 yd hold when zeroed for 50 yds on the center dot. This puts it about 1.5” high at 100 yds and drops to 2” low at 200 yds, 5” low at 225 yds, and 10” low at 250 yds.

Vortex VMX-3T Magnifier with Flip Mount
I’ve used this magnifier for years. Clear glass and stable on the AR platform. The mount can be configured for left or right hand flip, and comes with a spacer to match your height (co witness or lower 1/3rd optic height. Diopter to fine tune and adjustment to make sure your dot stats in the center of view regardless of your adjustments for zero. The mount has the SLIGHTEST wobble under recoil, but doesn’t affect point of aim/point of impact, and returns to the correct spot each time.

Photo luminescent ring issue

Trijicon HD XR Night Sight Set
I’ve had their HD sights in orange on my G41 for awhile and absolutely LOVE them. The tritium illumination is great, and the Orange photo luminescent paint on the front glows nice and bright after only 30 seconds of charging in bright light. However, I got the HD XR version for my P365 and the orange ring will NOT glow after several minutes of charging in very bright light. Even in total darkness it’s impossible to see the photo luminescent orange ring, only the tritium is illuminated, which sucks because half the point of this design is the bright ring on the front post. I mean, they still have tritium, but it’s substandard if half the thing isn’t right.

Wilson Combat WCP365 XL Grip Module
I put the XL grip module on my regular P365 because that teeny little factory grip doesn’t quite feel as secure as it could, and tends to slip in my hand a little when firing. The Wilson Combat grip has all that sweet, sweet texture, and fills my palm a lot better with the 1911 profile. That thing’s not goin anywhere! I carry this with a Boraii pocket holster, and everything forward of the mag release is identical to Sig, so holsters fit the same. Even with the extra length and girth of the XL module it stays securely hidden in my pocket, but doesn’t hang up on the draw with 12rd flush fit mags. (your results may vary depending on your pants size, and snugness of pockets) *Also note* If you’re upgrading a regular p365 to the XL module you’ll need to order the 12rd mag, because the 10rd will not work, for obvious reasons.
