So the glass is decently clear, the illumination is definitely not the worst. I have one hitch that I didn't realize that I would have to worry about living in Texas. Contrary to what another review had said about not fogging up. The night I mounted this scope whilst at work, I put my rifle back in my truck, took it out when I got off from my shift took it out of the truck when I went in the house and checked the scope and it fogged up for about 5 minutes or so its maybe about 40 degrees outside. I hate to compare but I have a vortex strike eagle that I've taken from a heated house out into freezing weather and nothing happened so take this as you will guys and gals. Other than the scope is pretty great easy to zero and great light transmission. I hate to write a negative review but its not terrible if you live in a cold and humid climate. Again folks take it as you will. It isn't a bad optic but when I hunt most of the time is colder weather so this is a bit of an issue.
