I have become a fan of many of Holosun’s products and give the company credit for innovation that outpaces much of the market. I was excited to try this optic to gain BDC capability in a red dot with a larger than T1/H1 tube. Unfortunately, the BdC reticle, in reality, is incredibly busy (dots, hashes, and numbers), which really detracts from its usability as a red dot for close range, while under magnification, it is still cluttered and not very useful. More unfortunate because while you can change the reticle, you can’t make the most potentially useful change which would be eliminating the visible numbers. Aside from the awful reticle, the optic is lightweight, feels durable, fits the T1 mounting footprint, and is probably a fine optic base. I haven’t tried it, but I suspect the non-SPR version of this red dot would be a strong, basic red dot optic choice.

Nice grip with a good angle and effective storage, but the smooth rubber texture is not "grippy" enough to be useful in all conditions. The regular K2 is much "grippier" than the K2+ and provide a much more useful grip texture.
